Marthese Temming
   - Pastoral Associate
  Marthese Temming, the Pastoral Associate for the Bethany Community cares for the Pastoral needs, visitations and participates in the liturgical life of the Bethany Community. She is contactable at the Parish Office on 9741 4144.
 
The following are the activities in our Community:
 
  COMMUNITY MASSES
  Family friendly environment.
Everyone welcome
 
10.00 am 2nd Sunday of the Month
(except school holidays)

Cnr. Thames Blvd & Heaths Rd.
 
  We welcome anyone who would like to participate in these Community Masses: Special Ministers, Readers, Helpers for setting up and Hospitality. Contact: Marthese at the Parish Office on 9741 4144.
 
  JEWEL TEAM
 
Liturgy Group meets once a month to pray and plan Community Masses.
 
  CHRISTMAS MASS CHILDREN'S CHOIR
 
Children from the Bethany School Community participate in the Christmas Mass (2nd Sunday in December).
 
  PARISH FAIR CAKE STALL
 
The Bethany Community organise the Cake Stall for the Parish Fair held in November.
 
  CRAFT GROUP:
 
The group meets every Thursday morning from 10.00am 12.00 noon in the church meeting room. The group is open to men and women. The group includes those who are unable to attend the Thursday mornings but who make items for us. The parishioners support the group whenever we have a need for materials such as knitting yarn, from time to time. We make items for the church fair, for various charities, e.g. African babies with AIDS, orphaned children, nursing homes, and various community requests.
 
  MENS GROUP
 
A group for men, giving them the opportunity to meet over a meal in a local pub or restaurant, usually on the third Wednesday of the month from 7.00pm.

  GATHERING GROUP
 
The Gathering Group meet once a month to discuss/organise happenings and activities within the Bethany community.
