Church Reopening for weekend Masses

Dear Parishioners,

GOOD NEWS!!!! From this weekend, 13th /14th of June, our church is reopening for the Eucharistic Celebration.

We will have a Mass on Saturday at 5.00pm which will be our live streaming Mass.

On Sunday, we will have Masses at 9.00am, 11.30am and 4.00pm.

At each of these Masses we will have TWENTY participants.

As we have more than 6000 families and to give opportunity to as many families as possible, we will have ONLY TWO MEMBERS from each family.

Please follow the link to book your attendance via Trybooking: https://www.trybooking.com/BJXDQ

We will strictly follow the instructions given by the Government and the Church for the safety of all.

For more details please refer the following letter…

My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Peace of Christ be with you.

We continue to pray that you all are keeping fine and staying safe.

1st June has passed and more relaxation has been announced by the Government and more Guidelines have been given by the Church regarding the restriction for COVID-19. Many asked us when we are going to open the church and few commented that some churches are opened already. Having more than 6000 families with a large percentage of elderly and very young members demand us to be extra careful, for the safety of all.

Taking all the precautions necessary we are opening our church for weekend liturgies with the parishioners. We hoped that we will be given permission to have fifty participants, but we are allowed only to have twenty at present. Perhaps this also may be good so that we may start with small numbers.

From next weekend, 13th / 14th of June, we will begin our Eucharistic Celebrations in our church, with you our parishioners. We will have a Mass on Saturday at 5.00pm which will be our live streaming and recording Mass as well. On Sunday, we will have Masses at 9.00am, 11.30am and 4.00pm. At each of these Masses we will have TWENTY participants. As we have more than 6000 families and to give opportunity to as many families as possible, we will have ONLY TWO MEMBERS from each family. In celebrating these liturgies we will strictly follow the instructions given by the Government and the Church for the safety of all.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

You may book to participate at any of the Masses by Trybooking  https://www.trybooking.com/BJXDQ or phone or e-mail to our parish office, whichever is convenient for you. Please give your name, contact number, date and time of the Mass you want to participate. Please remember only two people from a family

If you have cough, cold or fever please remain home for your safety and the safety of others.

WHEN YOU COME:

Please confirm your presence to the volunteer who will welcome you. Sanitize your hands and receive two antibacterial wet wipes.

Please go to one of the marked seats.  Wipe the seat and the hand rest in front with one of the wet wipes. Please remain in your seat till you leave. Communion will be given to you in a safe manner.

When the Mass finishes, please wipe your seat and the hand rest with the second wet wipe and leave the church and go straight to your vehicle to avoid any gathering keeping the law of distance and safety.

TOILETS:

We strongly discourage you not to use the toilets as it will be impossible to sanitize them after being used by each person. But if you use then please look after your own hygiene and leave the place in a hygienic way for others.

We know that these regulations are not of our liking but are something that we have to follow for our own safety and that of all.

Thank you. God bless you all. You are all in our prayers especially when we offer our private Masses.

Please take care & stay safe.

Yours in Christ,

Frs. Anil, Anton & Albert
